The game has four unique realms with different environments and types of monsters that will fight you. Remnant offers a variety of diverse worlds that you can visit and conquer. In terms of storyline, Remnant urges you to figure out how to stop this ancient evil called The Root, but while the voice-acting is superb and the atmosphere of all the places you can explore really hypes up the challenges ahead, it can be a bit hard to care about your main story mission. Using these new places, you can investigate where these evil creatures came from, find more resources to keep surviving, and fight back to reclaim what the world had lost. Humanity, fortunately, has the power to open portals to other realms and alternate realities. Set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters that you would commonly find in dark fantasy realms, you have no choice but to use the common weapons found in our world against their might and magic.
